\nTheir faces were many, and rolled and rolled again.
\n\nWere one to look at their colourful armours
\nOf resin or metal
\nOf crimson, teal or violet shades
\nBearing strange sigils to decipher
\nAll would recognise avatars of fate.
\n\nWould three sisters pull or cut a thread,
\nA shy cobra judge over scales,
\nA foretelling crow fly in the air,
\nA tree’s roots woven by giant maids;
\nThey would answer the call of such deities.
\n\nCould these multi-headed instruments
\nOffer a fruitful outcome
\nTo this fateful
\nWager ?
