Boutureira<\/p>\n\n\n\nWavy thoughts come and go, some like a river,<br> \nSome like a storm, most keeping me drenched, <br>\nWhile others barely quench the thirst that I<br>\nSuffer most of the time, but it isn\u2019t suffering,<br>\nTruth be told, it\u2019s more like a camel in the desert that <br>\nEven though he has stored plenty of water<br>\nFor the days to come, he still dreams of the oasis <br>\nWith a parched throat that cares not so much<br>\nFor the water he already has, but the one he wants <br>\nTo have, as it doesn\u2019t matter how much he drinks <br>\nHe\u2019s just like a broken vase, there will always be <br>\nPlenty of space for more, more water<br>\nOr more thoughts, as some come like tears,<br>\nAnd some others like fog, a clouding fog that hides<br>\nAnd confuses, and shelters, and disappears,<br>\nAnd disorients, and clings, and fills, and expands,<br>\nAnd wets, and hurts, and blinds, and eventually goes, <br>\nGoes away, we all go away, these thoughts<br>\nWill too go away, even if now they feel like less<br>\nOf a fog and more of a murky stuck pond,<br>\nYet here comes a whirlpool, there goes a stone,<br>\nBut how can that be, if my thoughts aren\u2019t made of stone, <br>\nMostly like water they flow, oh, wait, now there\u2019s blood <br>\nDissolving through the water, maybe it wasn\u2019t a stone <br>\nBut a black ice block, a cumulus of all my thoughts,<br>\nThat flew through, hitting me in the head and now <br>\nMaking my blood flow, spilling as fast<br>\nAs thoughts come and go, maybe it\u2019s possible for me<br>\nTo just go, dissolve and disappear like a thought, <br>\nWithout hurting and causing pain as this,<br>\nMore like a drop of water, silently drying<br>\nIn the side of the road, just where I am, walking,<br>\nLetting my thoughts just flow, explore,<br>\nJust like my feet sliding through this sea of leaves,<br>\nBut whereas they return from under the waters, I don\u2019t, <br>\nFor sometimes it feels so much<br>\nLike my thoughts are drowning me,<br>\nA huge wave over my head, this small boat<br>\nTrying to sail the everchanging waters of my mind,<br>\nThis one sometimes just like an ocean, sometimes a drop,<br>\nNo matter the size, it has plenty of thoughts, thoughts <br>\nThat some are like a stream, and others like a dew drop, <br>\nThat sometimes we don\u2019t even know they\u2019re there, <br>\nSmall and unintrusive, long lost memories<br>\nThat permeate the landscape of our mind, <br>\nStaring at them can make us blind, lost <br>\nIn the nostalgic dew drop of our past, <br>\nBut then again, any of our thoughts can <br>\nLeave us drenched, parched, disoriented, <br>\nBloodied, blind or lost, because after all <br>\nThey\u2019re just thoughts that come and go, <br>\nSome like a river and some like a storm.\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wavy thoughts come and go, some like a river, <br \/>\nSome like a storm, most keeping me drenched, <br \/>\nWhile others barely quench the thirst that I<br \/>\nSuffer most of the time, but it isn\u2019t suffering,<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[5],"tags":[4,3],"class_list":["post-168","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-poetry","tag-4","tag-poetry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/web1.unine.ch\/new\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/168","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/web1.unine.ch\/new\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/web1.unine.ch\/new\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/web1.unine.ch\/new\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/web1.unine.ch\/new\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=168"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/web1.unine.ch\/new\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/168\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":169,"href":"https:\/\/web1.unine.ch\/new\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/168\/revisions\/169"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/web1.unine.ch\/new\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=168"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/web1.unine.ch\/new\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=168"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/web1.unine.ch\/new\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=168"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
